Lady Jacks win 3 of 4 recent games

Bogalusa’s Lady Jacks went 3-1 in games held Jan. 28 and Monday to Wednesday.
The game on Jan. 28 was a 63-49 win over Jewel Sumner in a District 8-3A game at home.
Tamirecal Peters led Bogalusa with 22 points.
Caitlyn Holloway, Ladericka Payne and Taniya Brown all had nine.
Tamiya Crumedy and Willasia Pam both posted five.
Mariah Myles tallied four.
On Monday, Bogalusa defeated Pearl River, 44-20, in a non-district game held on the road.
Payne led the Lady Jacks in points with 13 to go with two rebounds.
Holloway recorded 10 points and two boards.
Brown posted 10 points and three rebounds.
Peters tallied nine points.
Tyasia Toussaint had two points and four boards.
Saebrionay Anderson and Myles both had two rebounds, while Karmesha Harry and Crumedy both pulled down a rebound.
Tuesday’s game was a 55-43 victory over Archbishop Hannan at home in a road game.
Peters was Bogalusa’s leader in points with 21 on 8-of-11 from the field. Peters made two 3-pointers, grabbed a rebound and dished out an assist.
Myles scored eight points on 4-of-5 field goals along with three rebounds.
Holloway posted seven points on 3-of-4 from the field along with two rebounds and two assists.
Brown recorded seven points that included a 3-pointer. She pulled down 11 rebounds and had an assist.
Payne tallied six points and an assist.
Toussaint recorded six points and four boards.
Crumedy and Anderson both pulled down a rebound.
The next day was a 61-34 loss to Edna Karr in non-district action at home.
Bogalusa’s next game will take place on Feb. 4 against Salmen on the road.
