Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournaments single-game tickets on sale Feb. 1

Single-game tickets for the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments will go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT. In partnership with Pensacola Sports and Visit Pensacola, the tournaments will be held March 2-7, 2022, at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla.

All 12 Sun Belt men’s and women’s basketball teams will compete in the single-elimination tournament, with the two tournament champions earning the conference’s automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.

First round games will begin on Wednesday, March 2, for the women’s tournament and Thursday, March 3, for the men’s tournament. The women’s quarterfinals will be played on Friday, March 4, with the men’s quarterfinals to follow on Saturday, March 5. Both semifinals will take place on Sunday, March 6, and the championship games will be played on Monday, March 7.

The top four seeds coming out of the regular season will earn a bye to the tournament quarterfinals.

Reigning tournament champion App State (8-2) currently paces the Sun Belt men’s basketball standings, followed closely by Arkansas State (5-2), South Alabama (5-3) and Troy (5-3).

The Mountaineers (5-1) also top the Sun Belt women’s basketball standings, ahead of UTA (7-2), defending tournament champion Troy (7-2) and Louisiana (4-2).

App State won the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Men’s Basketball Championship, while Troy captured the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Basketball Championship.

Individual ticket prices range from $15 to $60 for adults and $5 to $30 for children 12 years and younger and are available through Ticketmaster.
