Pine’s Lady Raiders were victorious over St. Helena College and Career Academy and Independence in District 9-2A games that were held on Jan. 14 and Tuesday.

The game on Jan. 14 was a 55-31 win over St. Helena College and Career Academy at home.

Dillon Sumrall led Pine with 12 points.

Alyssa Phelps posted 11 points that included three 3-pointers.

Diamond Dawson recorded 10 points.

Hailey Martin recorded six points.

Madison Morgan had five points that included a 3-pointer.

Emma Lyons posted four.

Sarah Lyons, Lily Crain and Maggie Lyons all put up two.

Addyson Phelps posted one.

Tuesday’s game was a 50-24 victory over Independence on the road.

Martin led Pine with 12 points.

Alyssa Phelps and Sumrall both posted nine. Phelps made three 3-pointers.

Addyson Phelps had eight.

Dawson recorded six.

Emma Lyons posted four.

Morgan had two.

Pine will play again on Jan. 21 against Kentwood at home.
