Bowling Green defeats Centreville, topped by Simpson Academy

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers won their game against Centreville Academy, but lost to Simpson Academy in games that were held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Bowling Green was victorious over Centreville Academy, 64-50, at home.
Claire Wascom led the team in points with 14 on 6-of-10 shooting and 2-of-3 in 3-pointers. She pulled down four rebounds and two steals.
Peyton Dupuy posted 12 points that included four 3-pointers. She pulled a rebound and made two steals.
Chloe Bertrand recorded 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting along with two boards, an assist and a steal.
Anna Claire Crowe put up 10 points on 5-of-9 to go with two rebounds and three assists.
Bridget Devall posted eight points, four rebounds and two steals.
K.K. Seal tallied seven points on 3-of-6. She made a 3-pointer, pulled down three rebounds, blocked a shot and made four steals.
Baileigh Crain had two points and two rebounds.
Hallie Serigne grabbed a rebound, while Sydney Verret pulled down a board and passed for an assist.
On Wednesday, Bowling Green came up short to Simpson Academy, 49-45, on the road.
Seal led the way with 12 points on 5-of-10 from the field. Seal made a 3-pointer. She also had two rebounds, two assists and three steals.
Hope Crowe scored nine points on three 3-pointers. She was 3-for-5 from the field. Crowe grabbed a rebound, blocked two shots and made a steal.
Anna Claire Crowe posted eight points on 4-of-6 in field-goal attempts to go with four rebounds and a steal.
Wascom tallied seven points that included a 3-pointer, nine rebounds and an assist.
Bertrand put up four points to go with five rebounds and two steals.
Bailey Devall had three points on a 3-pointer along with eight boards.
Bridget Devall posted two points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Dupuy had a steal, while Verret grabbed a rebound.
Bowling Green School’s next game will be held on Tuesday against Oak Forest Academy at home.
