Bogalusa splits games in tournament, topped by Bonnabel, Independence

Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks went 1-1 in the Fontainebleau Tournament, but were defeated by Bonnabel and Independence this week.

Bogalusa was defeated in its first game at the Fontainebleau Tournament, 65-57, by Covington on Dec. 8.

Sincere Craft led the Lumberjacks with 23 points.

Wilson Gatlin tallied 13.

Ayden Magee posted 12.

The next day, Bogalusa topped Franklinton, 54-52, to conclude play in the tournament.

On Monday, Bogalusa was defeated by Bonnabel, 76-34, on the road.

Magee recorded 16 points to lead Bogalusa.

Tuesday’s game was a 52-42 loss to Independence on the road.

Magee was Bogalusa’s leading scorer with 21 points.

Bogalusa’s next game will take place Dec. 17 when they International High School of New Orleans at home.
