Varnado’s Lady Cats were defeated by Loranger, 64-24, in a game that was held on Tuesday at home.

“It’s a slow process for us, but we are improving. We performed better with our defense, foul shots and rebounding,” Varnado coach Garnet Fornea said on Tuesday. “We still have work to do on offense. We are excited that we were invited to participate in the Franklinton tournament, as this will give us more opportunities to improve.”

Varnado’s next game will be on Dec. 3 in the Franklinton High School Basketball Tournament when they face Mt. Hermon School at 3:45 p.m.
