Pine comes up short to Springfield

Pine’s Raiders were defeated by Springfield, 61-49, in a road game on Monday.
P.J. Foster posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. He hit two 3-pointers, dished out two assists and blocked two shots.
Adrianeun Johnson posted 15 and he made one 3-pointer. Johnson tallied an assist and two steals.
Zachary Thomas recorded six points and two rebounds.
D.J. Garrett tallied four points, five boards, two assists, three steals and a blocked shot.
Luke Spears had three points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocked shots.
Preston Stogner logged three points, two rebounds and a steal.
Isaac Barber posted two points.
Clint Miley posted two assists and two blocks, while Ahvon Johnson had a rebound and an assist, and Kendall Fountain pulled down two rebounds, made three steals and blocked three shots.
Pine will be back in action on Wednesday, Dec. 1 against Fontainebleau in the Franklinton High School Basketball Tournament.
