UNO baseball releases 2022 schedule, season tickets on sale now

Fresh off signing his four-year extension, New Orleans head baseball coach Blake Dean released the 2022 Privateers schedule. Featured home games include LSU on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m., two games against Tulane on Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m.
“Our goal every season is to have a schedule that challenges our guys at the highest level,” said Dean. “We have included tough non-conference weekends and midweek games that will test our team. There is no lack of competition in our region. Every team has talented players and coaches. We look forward to our schedule and hosting top programs, along with traveling to places like Oklahoma.”
Season tickets are on sale now for as low as $150. Blue grandstand seats are $350, silver grandstand are $250, with faculty and staff tickets at just $200 for silver, and general admission season tickets are guaranteed for just $150.

The season begins with three home games on February 18-20 as the Privateers host the Andre Dawson Classic.
Following the weekend series, UNO will host Big 12’s Kansas on February 25-27. A trip to Baton Rouge (LSU) begins the action in March and the Privateers return to Maestri Field on Wednesday, March 9 versus Louisiana at 6:30 p.m.
A four-game series against Youngstown State followed by a midweek contest versus South Alabama (March 15) concludes a five-game homestand before heading to Norman for three games versus Oklahoma.
A five-game homestand begins with Southern Miss (March 22) and concludes with Tulane on March 29. Sandwiched between the two midweeks is the Southland Conference opening series against Northwestern State.
The regular season concludes on Tuesday, May 17 versus Southern at 6:30 p.m.
The Southland Tournament is scheduled for May 19-28 with the top two seeds hosting three other teams apiece. The higher seed hosts the championship.
