Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers were defeated in both games of the 2021 South 5A Fast-Pitch Tournament that was held on Sept. 25 and Sept. 27 at Brookhaven Academy.

Bowling Green lost its first game, 11-0, against Copiah Academy on Saturday.

Albanie Fussell, Maddie Thomas and K.K. Seal all had a hit for the Lady Buccaneers.

Their final game was a 7-5 loss to Adams County Christian School on Saturday.

Cassidy Spears posted four hits, two runs batted in and a run scored.

Anna Claire Crowe singled, doubled, drove in a run and scored a run in a 3-for-4 game.

Fussell recorded two hits, including a triple, and two runs scored.

Katherine Burris singled twice and drove in a run

Seal posted two hits.

Kylee Burris singled and scored a run.

Thomas and Hallie Serigne both had a hit.
