No. 6 Pearl River’s Harper Baggett (Ocean Springs) has been selected as the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

The freshman forward was instrumental in the Wildcat attack in an 8-0 victory over East Central and a 1-0 win over rival and then No. 4 Jones College.

Playing against East Central, Baggett claimed his first collegiate goal and hat trick in the same contest. He also tallied an assist in the match.

Baggett is one of two Wildcats to claim an MACCC honor on the week as Maddux Francis (Poplarville) was named MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week.

The winner of the MACCC’s award is entered into consideration for NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week.
