Pine’s Lady Raiders captured the District 9-2A championship after defeating Loranger 14-1 in five innings.
Addyson Phelps highlighted the victory with a no hitter. Phelps pitched all five innings, allowing no earned runs with six strikeouts three walks.
Offensively, Phelps went 2-for-4 with a run batted in and two runs scored.
Kirbee Magee singled, doubled, drove in three runs and scored two runs.
Dillon Sumrall tallied two hits that included a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.
Kiyasha Clark singled twice, scored two runs and drove one home.
Ana Kate Thomas doubled.
Bailey Brooks scored two runs, while Bri Pittman scored a run and had an RBI and Alyssa Phelps scored a run.
Pine went 2-0 in the district season.
On Monday, Pine was topped by Pearl River, 13-10, at home in a non-district game.
Addyson Phelps tallied three hits that included a triple, three RBIs and a run scored.
Magee posted two hits that included a double and three RBIs.
Alyssa Phelps homered, drove in three and scored two runs.
Brooks singled and scored two runs.
Kiyasha Clark and Ana Kate Thomas both singled and scored a run.
Sumrall, Lily Crain and Katie Crain all scored one run.
