Mt. Hermon School’s Yellow Jackets defeated Slaughter Community Charter School, 13-3, in a home contest that took place on Monday.

Travell Brumfield led the hitters, going 2-for-3 with a double, two runs batted in and two walks.

Winning pitcher Trent Wilson allowed no earned runs on two hits with seven strikeouts in four innings of work.

Mt. Hermon School’s next game will take place on Saturday, March 13 against Pearl River in the Washington Parish Tournament.
