Bowling Green takes 2-of-3 from Lamar Christian School

Bowling Green School’s Buccaneers won 2-of-3 against Lamar Christian School in District 4-3A play held last Wednesday and Friday.
On Wednesday, Bowling Green defeated Lamar Christian School, 5-3, at home.
Rece Dillon singled twice.
Keaton Ruffino singled and drove in a run.
Jeffrey Slaughter singled and scored two runs.
Bradlee Davidson scored two runs, while Sammy Phelps had one run scored and Ben Galloway had an RBI.
Slaughter (2-1) was the winning pitcher, going five innings, allowing three runs on four hits with five strikeouts and four walks.
Matthew Bienvenu and Davidson each pitched a scoreless inning in relief. Bienvenu allowed one hit with two strikeouts and no walks. Davidson struck out one and walked one.
On Friday, the teams split a doubleheader, as Bowling Green took to the road.
Bowling Green lost the first game, 8-1.
Dillon singled and doubled with an RBI.
Logan Serpas singled and scored a run.
Ruffino, Galloway and Triston Jones all had one hit.
Bowling Green captured the second game, 7-4.
Jones tallied three hits and a run scored.
Galloway singled twice and drove in a run.
Serpas singled and drove in two runs.
Ruffino doubled and scored a run.
Davidson, Slaughter and Dillon all singled and scored a run.
Sammy Phelps tallied an RBI and scored a run, while Blaine Bulloch scored a run.
