There will be a blood drive held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the American Legion headquarters.

The Blood Center is partnering with the Florida Parishes Juvenile Justice District, serving Washington, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston and St. Helena parishes. All firefighters, police officers, EMTs and those who support them are invited to donate blood at one of the special blood drives, including the one Wednesday in Bogalusa.

All donors will receive the exclusive “First Responders For Life” T-shirt, a Blood Center T-shirt and free COVID-19 antibodies screening.

The Bogalusa Police Department encourages the public to participate in this important event. The American Legion headquarters is located at 63349 Louisiana Highway 10 in Bogalusa.
