Pine’s Raiders came up short to Independence in a 50-48 District 9-2A contest that took place on the road Friday.

John Eric Self led Pine with 15 points. He made a 3-pointer.

Clint Miley and Luke Spears tallied nine each. Miley recorded a 3-pointer.

Isaac Barber posted eight.

Will Hollywood had five.

Zach Thomas recorded two.

Pine’s next game will take place today against Kentwood at home.
