Varnado’s Wildcats defeated Kentwood, 64-41, in a District 9-2A game that took place on Tuesday at home.

Jaheim Hooks led Varnado in scoring with 19 points. He also grabbed five rebounds and made five steals.

Michael Fland posted nine points and five boards.

ZyQuantay Bickham tallied nine points, grabbed five boards and blocked a shot.

Caluntay Jackson recorded eight points, four rebounds and a block.

Varnado’s next game will be on Jan. 29 against Pine in a road contest.
