Bowling Green grad had big game on Saturday

Former Bowling Green School basketball player McKinley Seal had a strong game Saturday and was solid in Friday’s contests, helping William Carey University to a pair of road wins over Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Ga.

The 2017 Bowling Green graduate filled up the statsheet in Saturday’s win. Seal scored 18 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out eight assists. She also made two steals.

William Carey won that game, 83-78, in overtime.

On Friday, Seal scored five points, pulled down nine rebounds, passed for seven assists and made a steal in a 72-66 victory.

At press time, , Seal, who is a junior, is averaging 7.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game this season.

The team also features 2020 Bowling Green graduate and freshman Kyley Seals.

Seals is averaging 2.6 points per game in limited action.

William Carey’s next game will take place on Jan. 26 on the road against Loyola University in a Southern States Athletic Conference contest.
