Franklinton’s Lady Demons were defeated by Pearl River, 2-0, in a home game that took place on Wednesday.

Pearl River’s second goal came late in the second half.

“We are still trying to find that ‘magic’ combination of girls on the field,” Franklinton coach Jennifer Jenkins said. “Several girls were moved to new positions last night and I couldn’t be happier with their performances in those positions. They really stepped up when it was needed.”

Franklinton will play again on Tuesday at home against Lakeshore.
