Varnado’s Lady Cats were defeated by Kentwood, 62-27, in Friday’s game that took place on the road.

Myesha Peters topped Varnado with 10 points. She made two 3-pointers.

JaKyra Daggs posted eight points.

Taisha Brister had five points that included a 3-pointer.

Kasia McGowan put up four points.

Varnado’s next game will take place on Friday against Amite at home.
