Ben’s Ford Christian School’s John Robert Holston
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s John Robert Holston is a senior.
Holston has played multiple sports throughout the years, but is playing basketball this year.
Holston is a point guard for the Eagles.
“John Robert’s my only senior. He is a great leader. He’s intensely loyal and is really helping us lay the foundation for where we want to go in the future,” Ben’s Ford Christian School’s boys basketball coach Derek Dantin said. “He’ll be a big part of that success down the road and he deserves everything he gets going forward in his life.”
What do you enjoy most about playing your sport?
I guess trying to go to other schools, meeting new people and playing sports with friends on my team.
What do you like best about being a student athlete?
Getting to play with people you know, the support you get from the school and the people coming out to watch you play.
Who has been the most influential person in your school sports career? Why?
My parents (Jonathan and Karen Holston) because they support me. Whether I’m doing good or doing bad, they push me through.
Favorite team?
Ben’s Ford varsity boys basketball team.
Best thing about living in Washington Parish?
Everybody knows everybody.
