Varnado basketball   raffling off a barbecue pit

Varnado High School is raffling off a barbecue pit package to benefit the boys basketball team.

The package includes a barbecue pit, utensil set, charcoal, chimney starter and pit cover.

The raffle costs $5 to enter.

The raffle takes place at Varnado’s home game Dec. 4 against Vandebilt Catholic.

Franklinton Soccer Club      registration

Membership for 2021 season at the Franklinton Soccer Club is open and will include participation in both the spring and fall seasons.

The spring season will take place from March 1 through May 1. The club plays at the Atoka Recreation Complex this Fall on Hwy. 25. It is located two miles from the entrance to the Washington Parish Fairgrounds.
