Mr. Silas Partman Jr., 93, was a resident of Franklinton. Mr. Silas passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.

He is survived by his family, including seven children, Alma M. (Peter) Partman of Little Rock, Ark., Silas Partman III and Albert Partman, both of Biloxi, Miss., Ronald Partman, LaJoyce Partman and Vicki P. Cotton, both of Franklinton, and Vincent Partman of Jacksonville, Fla.; one step-son, Mark (Joyce) Magee; one brother, Heyward Partman Sr. of Franklinton; two sisters, Eva Partman Spikes of Killeen, Texas, and Helen (Roy) Spearman of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, Leroy Causey; two sisters-in-law, Mary Partman and Fairy Simms; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Silas is preceded in death by his wife, Luberta Chapell Partman; parents, Silas Dewey Partman Sr., and Katie Burris Partman; two children, Ursaline Partman and Ronald Partman; and one step-son, Keith Magee Sr.

A drive-through visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 27, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, for the public.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. at 11 a.m., with Elder Alvin Partman, pastor, officiating. Masks are required.
