Franklinton plays Salmen on the road

Franklinton’s Demons are on the road Friday night, as they play against Salmen in a District 9-4A contest.
Franklinton is 0-6 and is coming off of a 52-0 loss to Lakeshore last week.
Going into last week’s game, Zion Anders had thrown for 482 yards and two touchdowns along with 114 yards rushing and a score.
De’Airreous Magee was the team’s leading rusher with 121 yards and a touchdown.
Cornelius Laurant entered last week with 59 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Kadarious Mark started last week with 19 catches for 273 yards and two touchdowns to lead the receivers.
Caleb Brown had 16 receptions for 205 yards and a score.
Khaled Waliagha led the team in tackles with 32 at the start of last week.
Salmen enters this week with a 4-1 record. Salmen was scheduled to play against Pearl River, but the game was canceled because of COVID-19 issues at Pearl River.
Salmen’s last game was a 14-7 win over McDonogh 35 on Halloween.
Franklinton won last year’s game against Salmen, 33-7.
