The Rev. Jessie Earl Moses was born to the late Mr. Samuel Moses Sr. and the late Catherine Mingo Moses.

He was born in New Orleans on Dec. 15, 1952. He departed this life on Oct. 8, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Jasmine Moses of Angie, and Sandra Jackson of Bogalusa; four sons, Jessie Moses Jr. of Texas, Broderick Moses of New Orleans, and Joshua Moses and Malcolm Jackson of Angie; four sisters, Geraldine Moses, Annalis Crain, Charlette Crain and Ivena Crain, all of Angie; two brothers, Ervin Crain and Christopher Crain of Angie; 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Moses Sr. and Catherine Mingo Moses; his wife, Chinesia Moses; a grandson, Malcolm Jackson Jr.; four brothers, Samuel Moses Jr., Gabe Moses, Sampson Moses and Johnnie Moses.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at Robinson Cemetery in Angie.
