Randy Termayne Sanders was born on July 1, 1976, in Bogalusa, to Ms. Annie R. Sanders and the late Donnell Fortenberry. He departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020 in Tylertown, Miss.

Randy attended Franklinton School and furthered his education and training at Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, Mo.

Randy was a friendly, humble, nice and kind-hearted person. If he couldn’t help you, he certainly would not harm you! Randy wore a smile and never met a stranger. He was liked and loved by many and touched many lives. Randy was an unofficial “Uber Driver” for many years, giving rides to individuals in need of transportation.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Dollie Sanders; his paternal grandparents, Dave and Bobbie Nell Fortenberry; and two aunts, Pearline Washington and Willene Bickham.

Randy leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Annie Sanders of Franklinton; three brothers, Moses Sanders and Jason Sander, both of Baton Rouge, and Derodrick Fortenberry of Franklinton; two sisters; a stepmother, JoAnn Brown of Folsom; three special aunts, Freddie (Calvin) Straughter, Rosilyn Magee and Tonnia Davis; three special uncles, Otis (Penni) Sanders, Kenneth Sanders and Shelton Washington; two special friends, Shirley Bridges and Marshall Brown; a god-son, Nolan Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, at noon at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. Interment will be held at St. James Cemetery.
