Local football teams have had schedule changes this week because of Hurricane Delta.

Teams from Washington Parish will be playing either Wednesday or Thursday.

Games on Wednesday, Oct. 7 include Varnado playing Slaughter Charter, Pine facing St. Thomas Aquinas and Bowling Green School going against Silliman Institute.

Varnado and Pine are at home this week, while Bowling Green School is on the road.

Like Wednesday, Thursday’s slate of games includes two home games.

On Thursday, Oct. 8, Bogalusa goes against Ben Franklin, Franklinton is playing New Iberia and Ben’s Ford Christian School faces Columbus Academy.

Bogalusa and Franklinton are at home this week, while Ben’s Ford is on the road.

The Varnado game kicks off at 6 p.m., while all others take place at 7 p.m.
