Competition and fundraising come together for a day on the golf course next Saturday when players hit the links for the YMCA Golf Classic at the Bogalusa Country Club.

The tournament on Sept. 26 was scheduled for late August, but was postponed because of rain.

This is the YMCA’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

The event is a two-person scramble format and costs $100 per person. You can drop off registration or mail it to 411 Ave. B, Bogalusa, LA, 70427.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. with tee time set for 9 a.m. and lunch is at 11 a.m.

The cost includes carts, green fees, mulligans and lunch. Carts are limited, so if you have one, you are asked to bring it.
