Ragin’ Cajuns picked to win Sun Belt West Division

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns were picked to win their division of the Sun Belt Conference in the coaches poll.
The Ragin’ Cajuns were picked to win the West Division.
The Sun Belt Conference features 10 teams divided up in the East and West Divisions. Each division has five teams.
Louisiana had the second-most first-place votes among the teams in the conference with seven. Appalachian State University, which was picked to win the East Division, topped everybody with nine first-place votes.
One of the players for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is freshman running back and 2020 Franklinton High School graduate Mike Martin Jr.
The Ragin’ Cajuns will open the season on Sept. 12 with a road game against Iowa State University.
