Eloise Keller Brewer, 95, of Bogalusa, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2020. She was an active member of Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Crossroads, Miss., where she served for many years, most notably, as a Sunday School teacher to the little children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, she was devoted to her heavenly Father. She was our matriarch and prayer warrior, the one we all called upon to pray in time of need. She was a wonderful cook, who enjoyed cooking for her family and her church family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Randle Brewer; parents, Sammy Keller and Lula Pullens Keller; one son, Robert Charles Reyer; one daughter, Elsie Lynn Reyer Arnold Hocutt; two sons-in-law, Albert W. Crawford Sr. and John Hocutt; siblings, Marie Keller, Cecil Keller, Albert Keller, J.C. Keller, Julius Keller, L.D. Keller, T.C. Keller and Mary Jane Keller Saucier; two grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Eloise is survived by three daughters, Jane Ann Reyer Crawford, Mary Ella Brewer Patrick (Terry) and Teressa Brewer Hernandez (James); one daughter-in-law, Patsy Walker Reyer; siblings, Ollie Keller Culpepper, Irene Keller Culpepper, Alvin Keller and Pauline Keller Klein; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Mrs. Eloise’s celebration of life on Thursday, July 30, at 1 p.m., at Mitchell Chapel Church of God, 98 Mitchell Chapel Road in Poplarville, Miss. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mitchell Chapel Cemetery.
