Two Franklinton soccer players are first-team all-district players in 6-II this season.

Goalkeeper Ashlan Ard and striker Kassidy Nielson made the top team.

This season, Ard recorded three shutouts and had six more games where the opposition scored just one goal.

Nielson scored a school-record 37 goals, breaking her own mark that she set last year at 32.

Three more Lady Demons are second-team players in midfielder Kayla Barclay, defenders Brianna Bryant and Emma Knight.

This season, Bryant tallied two goals. Knight and Barclay posted one each.

Franklinton was the No. 21 seed in the playoffs, but came up a goal short to 12th-seeded and regional-round team Belle Chasse, 3-2, in the bi-district round.
