Bogalusa’s boys and girls track and field teams combined to have seven seniors on the 2020 teams.The group includes Prayja Bickham, Myical Burrell, Shadwick Gamble, Tyron Johnson, Davin Phillips, Ladarious Spikes and Clyedterrious Thompson.
The team had begun their season, but it was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The senior class was one of the elite groups that I was going to have this year,” Bogalusa coach Eddie Walker said. “They were going to, in my opinion, go beyond what we did last year as far as district, regional and state competition. We would’ve had more kids qualify for state at the competitive level than what we did last year.”
