Mabel Jean Denham of Bogalusa, born on Dec. 1, 1932, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020. She was 87 years old. She was married to George E. Denham for 70 years. They have five children, Pamela Williamson (Geoffrey), Wanda Knight (Rodney), George Denham Jr. (Mary), Glenn Allen Denham (Karen) and James Denham; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Tenia Sorensen; brother, George Sorensen; sister, Deane Nelson; and grandson, Gerald Williamson Jr.

She was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 10 a.m. at Hillview Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Pete Underwood officiating.
