Amy Raynell Runfalo Holden passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 47 years old. She was born July 26, 1972 in Bogalusa, where she resided her entire life. She enjoyed a career in Emergency Medicine as a paramedic; and was well loved by those she worked with. Amy was a kind, compassionate person and was well known for helping and caring for others, always having a sharp sense of humor, and for her beautiful smile.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Holden; her daughter, Megan Danielle Whitecotton; her father, Jake J. Runfalo Sr. and her stepmother Regina Runfalo; two brothers, Aaron Runfalo and Jake John Runfalo Jr.; three sisters, Dr. Cori Runfalo Sumrall (Steven), Angela Fleming Besse (Bubba), and Brandy Fleming (Trish); and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Alford Nobles; and her grandparents, Frank and Nell Alford and Tony and Louise Runfalo.
A memorial service was held on March 12 at Serenity Funeral Home in Abita Springs, attended by family and friends.
