Sister Lucy Carson was born on Aug. 20, 1944, to the late Mr. Kelly Conerly and Ms. Almaya of the Hackley community.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was very dear to her heart.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three sons, Earnest Conerly, Mark Conerly and Donald Ray Conerly, all of Franklinton; two grandchildren that she raised as her own, Terry Conerly and Reggie Conerly of Franklinton; three sisters, Harris Mae Silas, of DeRidder, Velma Brown of Franklinton, and Mary Lee (Curtis) Bickham of Franklinton; four brothers, Willie Earl Conerly, Herbert Conerly, Early Conerly and B.B.B Conerly of Poplarville, Miss.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kelly Conerly, and her mother, Almaya Conerly, and two daughters, Tammy Conerly and Cindy Brown; one brother, Kelly Conerly; two sisters, Edna Conerly and Virgie Lee Robinson; and her husband, Donald Carson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Washington St. in Franklinton, and the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
