Mt. Hermon’s Williams scores 20 points in win

Mt. Hermon School’s Tevin Williams posted 20 points in a 75-59 victory over Varnado in Monday’s road game.
Williams was one of four Yellow Jackets to post double figures.
Travell Brumfield recorded 18 points, including a trio of 3-pointers.
Tristan Brumfield and Keondre Bunch recorded 13 each. Both players hit two 3-pointers.
Michquel Spears scored seven points, while Jeremy Bickham posted four. Spears made a 3-pointer.
Kim McGowan Jr. led Varnado with 17 points. He made a 3-pointer.
Elizah Miller tallied 12 points and he made two 3-pointers.
Zyquantay Bickham had 11 points, which included a pair of 3-pointers.
Trevin Haynes and Michael Fland recorded six each, while Montez Trosclair posted four, Caluntay Jackson had two and Quanta Peters added one. Fland made two 3-pointers.
Mt. Hermon’s next game will take place on the road against Springfield on Friday. Varnado will be back on the court on Wednesday, Jan. 8, with a home game against Mandeville.
