Yellow Jackets topped in overtime by Amite on Tuesday

Mt. Hermon School’s Yellow Jackets fell to Amite in overtime, 71-60, in Tuesday’s home game.
Mt. Hermon led 55-52, but Amite made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie it at 55-55 and send the game to overtime.
Tevin Williams led the Yellow Jackets with 17 points.
Travell Brumfield posted 13 points, which included a 3-pointer.
Michquel Spears scored 11 points and he made a trio of 3-pointers.
Ja’Quarrian Alexander tallied 10 points and he made two 3-pointers.
Tristan Brumfield and Keondre Brumfield had four points each, while Jeremy Bickham added one.
Mt. Hermon will be back in action in the Episcopal Tournament that will take place Friday through Saturday and Monday.
