Ben’s Ford defeated by Lamar, Laurel last week

Ben’s Ford Christian School was defeated by Lamar Christian School and Laurel Christian School in games held Thursday and Friday.
Thursday’s game was a 65-13 setback to Lamar Christian School at home.
John Eric Self and Jonah Holston scored four points each to top the Eagles. Self had four rebounds and four steals. Holston tallied three boards and a steal.
Jonah Williams had three points.
Cameron Bullen posted a point, six boards and a steal.
John Robert Holston tallied one point, three rebounds and four steals.
Joseph Williams had five boards and two steals, while Sam Peters pulled down two rebounds, Gage Adams had two rebounds and a steal and Nate Descant pulled down a board.
Friday’s game was a 73-38 loss to Laurel Christian School on the road.
John Robert Holston missed a double-double by just three rebounds, going for 10 points, which led the team, seven rebounds, an assist and three steals.
Self also came close to a double-double, as he posted nine points and seven boards and a steal.
Peters came close to a double-double as well, with seven points and nine rebounds.
Descant tallied six points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Jonah Holston had four points, nine rebounds and he blocked a shot.
Bullen tallied two points and six rebounds.
Williams posted three boards.
Ben’s Ford will be back in action on Thursday, with a road game against Prentiss Christian School.
