Mt. Hermon boys split games in its tourney

Mt. Hermon School split games in the Mt. Hermon Tournament that took place Nov. 21 and Nov. 23.
Mt. Hermon won its opener on Nov. 21 against Pine, 85-57.
Tevin Williams led Mt. Hermon with 19 points.
Rashad Oatis recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Keondre Bunch posted 12 points.
Travell Brumfield had nine points, while Tristan Brumfield tallied eight, Michquel Spears and Jeremy Bickham posted seven each and Jordan Harrison, Jonathan McMahon and Keey’Ontreh Williams added two each for the Yellow Jackets.
Pine’s Tristan Jones led all scorers with 25 points. He knocked down five 3-pointers.
Karson Voth posted 20 points.
Kendall Sheridan tallied six points, while Luke Spears and Lazaren Brown added three each.
Two days later, Mt. Hermon lost to Jewel Sumner, 77-70.
Tevin Williams posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Spears tallied 15 points.
Bunch recorded 11.
Travell Brumfield recorded 10.
Bickham and Keey’Ontreh Williams tallied six each, while Tristan Brumfield had three and Harrison and Oatis added two each.
Pine lost both of its games.
The other contest was a 76-39 defeat to Fontainebleau on Nov. 23.
Sheridan topped Pine with 11 points, which included two 3-pointers.
Jones posted nine points, while Voth had eight, Brown tallied four, Spears had three Khalil Washington posted two. Jones made three 3-pointers, while Voth had two.
