Franklinton’s Kassidy Nielson set a single-game scoring record for the second time in six days in the Lady Demons’ 7-3 victory over Hammond on the road Monday.
Nielson, who set the school record last week with six goals in a game, netted seven goals in Monday’s contest.
Franklinton trailed Hammond, 3-1, in the first half and came back for the come-from-behind victory.
Franklinton coach Drew Brooks said that Ashlan Ard had a great game at keeper.
He also said that defenders Brianna Bryant, Emma Knight, Briana Stroyewski and Sophia Keaton all had excellent games.
“We dominated the midfield with Ashlyn Welch, Brylie Fowler, Kayla Barclay and Hailey Jenkins, and strikers Angel Solano and Keylin Kopez also played really well. Great team effort. I’m a very proud coach,” Brooks said.
On Thursday, the Lady Demons defeated Plaquemine, 4-1, in a road game
Four Lady Demons tallied a goal.
Welch, Knight, Lopez and Nielson all recorded a goal for Franklinton.
Franklinton is 3-0 this season and will be back in action on Dec. 3 when the Lady Demons host Salmen.
