Bowling Green School tallied a 1-1 record in games held on Saturday, Nov. 16 and Monday, Nov. 18 with a victory over Jackson Academy and a defeat to Simpson Academy.
Steven Scott Cooper scored 27 points in the Buccaneers’ 78-66 victory over Jackson Academy at home Saturday.
Cooper was one of four Buccaneers in double figures.
Braden Edwards posted 16 points.
Jace Schexnider tallied 13.
Rece Dillon recorded 10 in the victory.
On Monday, Bowling Green was defeated by Simpson Academy, 70-47.
Cooper posted 13 points to lead the Buccaneers.
Edwards and Nathan Jenkins recorded eight each.
Bowling Green’s next competition is in the Poplarville Thanksgiving Invitational, which will be held on Friday at Pearl River Community College.
