Franklinton’s Addison Carter had big night in the Lady Demons’ 53-43 win over Mt. Hermon to begin the season at home Tuesday.
Carter scored 30 points and she made six 3-pointers in the victory.
Miriam Tate was also in double-figures, as she posted a 15-point night.
Zykeria Dykes tallied four points and Eliziah Riley and Dewanna Daniels added two points each for Franklinton.
Sydnei Tullos led Mt. Hermon with 15 points that included a trio of 3-pointers.
Bailey Fortenberry posted 11 points and she made one 3-pointer.
Sikoya Jackson posted nine points, while Macey Applegate had eight. Jackson and Applegate made a 3-pointer each.
Both teams are playing in the Mt. Hermon Tournament that concludes on Saturday, Nov. 23.
