Ben’s Ford posts 1-3 mark in basketball games held recently

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Eagles lost to Silliman Institute, won against Prentiss Christian School, lost to Discovery Christian School and Salem in contests that took place on Thursday, Nov. 7, Tuesday, Nov. 12 and on Thursday and Friday.
The Eagles suffered a 57-47 loss to Silliman Institute on Thursday, Nov. 7 at home.
John Eric Self scored 17 points, pulled down seven rebounds and made two steals.
Self was one of two players in double figures.
John Robert Holston posted 13 points, four boards, four steals and he blocked a shot.
A.J. Exkano tallied six points, three rebounds, three assists, four steals and had a blocked shot.
Micaiah Rosa recorded four points, four boards, two assists and a pair of steals.
Nate Descant had three points and a rebound.
Sam Peters put up two points and grabbed three rebounds.
Cameron Bullen posted two points and a rebound.
Joseph Williams had a pair of rebounds.
On Nov. 12, Ben’s Ford defeated Prentiss Christian School, 64-33, as Self and Exkano posted big games that were at home.
Self scored 22 points, pulled down six rebounds and made four steals.
Exkano had a double double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, an assist and two steals.
John Robert Holston tallied seven points, a rebound, an assist and four steals.
Descant recorded five points and two rebounds.
Bullen scored three points, pulled down eight boards and made a steal.
Williams posted two points, five rebounds and a steal.
Jonah Holston had two points, five rebounds an assist and a steal.
Rosa tallied two points, four boards, an assist and a steal.
Gage Adams scored two points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out an assist and made three steals.
Peters made a steal in the win.
The road game against Discovery Christian School was 65-31.
Exhano posted 13 points to lead Ben’s Ford. He tallied six rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Self recorded eight points, seven rebounds, a steal and he blocked three shots.
John Robert Holston had four points, a rebound, an assist and two steals.
Descant tallied three points and two assists.
Williams logged three points and a rebound.
Rosa grabbed four boards, while Bullen pulled down three rebounds and dished out two assists and Jonah Holston pulled down a pair of boards.
The home contest against Salem was 69-41.
John Robert Holston led the Eagles with 14 points. He recorded six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Self missed a double-double by just a point. He had nine points, 10 boards, four assists and he blocked three shots.
Peters registered seven points, five rebounds and an assist.
Williams logged six points.
Exhano recorded five points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Jonah Holston pulled down three boards while Descant dished out an assist and Adams and Williams added a rebound each.
Ben’s Ford plays again on Nov. 21 on the road against Silliman.
