Ben’s Ford playing well in recent games

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles were defeated by Silliman and won against Prentiss Christian School, Discovery Christian School and Salem in games held Thursday, Nov. 7, Tuesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday and Friday.
Ben’s Ford lost to Silliman Institute, 44-24, on Thursday, Nov. 7 at home.
Kelci Freeman topped the Lady Eagles in points with 13. She also had five rebounds and six steals.
Lindsey McGehee posted six points, five rebounds and a steal.
Dani Descant posted three points and a rebound.
Sylvia Rosa had a point and two rebounds, along with one assist and a steal.
Bailey Stewart grabbed five rebounds and made two steals, while Allie Jacobs posted three boards and a pair of steals.
On Nov. 12, Alaina McClelland had a big night in Ben’s Ford’s 51-23 victory over Prentiss Christian School at home.
McClelland scored 28 points and only missed a double double by three rebounds, as she tallied seven. McClelland also dished out two assists and made a pair of steals.
Lindsey McGehee tallied seven points, five boards, an assist and a steal.
Bailey Stewart posted six points, six boards, two assists and two steals.
Dani Descant recorded four points, four boards, an assist and two steals.
Kelci Freeman had two points six rebounds, two assists and four steals.
Rosa posted two points, three boards and a steal.
Kimberly Stogner had two points and two rebounds.
Allie Jacobs pulled down seven rebounds to go with an assist and she blocked a shot.
On Thursday, the Lady Eagles defeated Discovery Christian School, 35-13, on the road.
Freeman posted 10 points, six rebounds, three steals.
Stewart had seven points, five rebounds, four steals and an assist.
McClelland recorded seven points, two boards, two assists and a steal.
McGehee tallied seven points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Descant had four points and a pair of rebounds.
Jacobs pulled down four boards and made a steal while Rosa had an assist and a steal, Stogner had a rebound and Breanna Jones added a steal in the win.
Friday’s game was a 56-22 victory over Salem at home, as Freeman missed a triple-double by just two rebounds.
Freeman scored 27 points, made 10 steals and grabbed eight boards.
McClelland had 10 points, four boards, three steals and she blocked a shot.
Jacobs recorded six points, four rebounds, an assist, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Rosa posted five points, four boards and a steal.
Stewart had four points, seven rebounds, an assist and a steal.
McGehee scored two points, pulled down six boards, made a steal and blocked a shot.
Stogner had two points and two rebounds.
Descant tallied four rebounds, an assist and two steals while Jules Morelock and Anna Robichaux had a rebound each.
Ben’s Ford is back in action on Thursday with a home game against Silliman Institute.
