Lady Eagles defeat Our Lady Academy in basketball

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Kelci Freeman posted a double-double and missed a triple-double by just three steals in a 58-16 victory over Our Lady Academy of Bay St. Louis, Miss., at home Monday. Three Lady Eagles scored in double figures in the win.
Freeman scored 15 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and made seven steals. She also dished out an assist and blocked a shot.
Allie Jacobs tallied 12 points to go with six boards and a steal, and she blocked a shot.
Sylvia Rose recorded 12 points and two rebounds.
Dani Descant posted seven points and eight boards to go with a steal.
Lindsey McGehee had four points, eight rebounds, four steals and a pair of assists.
Alaina McClelland had four points, four boards and an assist.
Kimberly Stogner scored four points and pulled down a rebound.
Bailey Stewart posted three rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot while Natalie Seal pulled down three boards and Anna Robichaux added a steal in the victory.
The Lady Eagles were 2-0 entering Tuesday’s game at Wilkinson County Christian Academy, which was not complete by press time.
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s next game will be Thursday, Nov. 7, against Silliman Institute at home, as the Lady Eagles wrap up a busy week of games.
