Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Kelci Freeman had a big night in a 62-23 season-opening victory over Our Lady Academy of Bay St. Louis, Miss., in Tuesday’s basketball game on the road.
Freeman was the Lady Eagles’ leading scorer with 24 points. Freeman also recorded six rebounds, six steals and an assist.
Alaina McClelland posted 13 points, five rebounds, five steals and an assist.
Allie Jacobs tallied 12 points, six boards, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Dani Descant put up six points and grabbed four rebounds.
Lindsey McGehee posted four points, six rebounds, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Bailey Stewart had three points, eight boards, three assists and three steals.
Sylvia Rose tallied two boards and three steals while Natalie Seal grabbed four boards, Kimberly Stogner had two rebounds and Jules Morelock added a rebound in the win.
The teams will meet again in Ben’s Ford’s next game, which is Monday, Nov. 4, at home.
