Franklinton’s volleyball team lost its two matches this week.
Both were in District 5-II play.
The Lady Demons lost to St. Scholastica Academy on the road Monday, 25-6, 25-10, 25-18.
The next day, Franklinton suffered a 25-1, 25-7, 25-7 loss to Lakeshore at home.
Franklinton is 5-11 and is ranked 42nd in the unofficial LHSAA Division II power rankings.
Franklinton has three matches next week.
The Lady Demons are playing non-district games against Varnado and Covington on Monday and Wednesday, respectively and then they host Salmen in a District 5-II contest on Thursday.
