Pine’s Lady Raiders volleyball team went 3-0 this week.
The Lady Raiders captured victories over Varnado, First Baptist Christian School and Loranger in matches that lasted three games each.
Pine’s win against Varnado was 25-2, 25-16, 25-12.
Makia Clark downed six kills.
Leah Ladner, Kalli Tullier, Reese Polk and Kiyasha Clark all posted one kill. Ladner posted two aces, as did Kaitlyn Cochran.
The next day was a 25-19, 25-16, 25-22 victory over First Baptist Christian School.
Polk led the Lady Raiders with 12 kills. Makia Clark had 10 kills. Ladner posted seven and Tullier had four.
Ladner and Makia Clark recorded a pair of aces each while Tullier added one in the victory.
On Wednesday, Pine defeated Loranger, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.
Makia Clark had a solid contest, going for 17 kills, while Polk tallied 13.
Tullier recorded nine kills while Ladner had eight.
Ladner also had an ace in the win for the Lady Raiders.
Monday and Wednesday’s game were road contests while Pine was the home team for Tuesday’s contest.
Pine will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Pearl River.
