Lady Buccaneers go 1-0-2 in final 3 games of regular season

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers capped off the regular season by going 1-0-2 over their final three games.
On Monday, the Lady Buccaneers defeated Adams County Christian School, 4-2, at home.
Landry Dupont led Bowling Green with three hits, which included a double and an RBI. Cassidy Spears tallied two hits.
Kylee Burris, Morgan Carpenter and KaKa Seal all recorded a hit and an RBI each.
Anna Claire Crowe, Dixie Camaille and Madelyn Burch all had one hit.
Burch pitched 4-2/3 innings of one-hit, shutout ball with 12 strikeouts and one walk.
Burris pitched 2-1/3 innings, allowing one earned run on two hits with three strikeouts and two walks.
On Saturday, the Lady Buccaneers tied both of their games at the Jackson Preparatory School Tournament.
Bowling Green played to a 3-3 and 6-6 tie against Hartfield Academy and Silliman Institute, respectively.
Against Hartfield, Spears had two hits and an RBI. Dupont recorded a hit, which was a double. Crowe posted a hit and an RBI.
Bowling Green is back in action on Saturday in the Class AAA South State tournament.
The Lady Buccaneers’ first game is set for 9 a.m. against Canton Academy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
The top four teams will advance to the Class AAA Tournament.
