The Mighty Thomas Carnival will provide the midway for the 2019 Washington Parish Free Fair in Franklinton on Oct. 16-20.

Advance tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, Sept. 23. A sheet of 40 tickets will be sold for $25. Once the fair starts, 30 tickets will cost $27 and single tickets will cost $1 each at the carnival ticket box. If you purchase tickets in advance, your savings will be 40 percent.

The advance tickets will be available at the Magee Financial offices located at 1001 Washington St. in Franklinton, 985-839-3512; 414 Columbia St. in Bogalusa, 985-735-8267; Highway 190 in Covington, 985-893-1600; and 403 Ave. G in Kentwood, 985-229-7921; Hancock Whitney Bank at 919 Washington St. in Franklinton, 985-839-9821; Hancock Whitney Bank at 300 Austin St. in Bogalusa, 985-732-3661; and at Parish Credit at 951 Washington St. in Franklinton, 985-839-5616. Tickets will be available each day during regular business hours through Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Thursday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 19, will be “Pay One Price” midway days and each armband will cost $20 (cash only). The armbands can be purchased beginning at 10 a.m. on those days and can be used until 4 p.m. only on the day purchased.

New this year —  the fair and midway will be open on Sunday, Oct. 20, starting at 11:30 a.m.
