Jackson Barrentine is the overall champion of the inaugural Washington Parish Golf League that capped off on July 22.
The league came down to a playoff.
Barrentine, Jeremy Bryant and Taylor Jarrell competed in all four of the league’s events and won their flights each time.
The three competed in a two-hole putting playoff to determine the overall champion and Barrentine was victorious.
This concludes the Washington Parish Golf League.
The competition featured four tournaments and the league took place at the Franklinton Country Club.
“I would like to thank Franklinton C.C. for all the effort they put in to make sure the kids had a great time at each event,” League Director Aaron Lott said.
